Amineko, one of the most popular knitted toys in Japan, has already become a classic in amigurumi. This is a wonderful knitting option for beginners; by knitting it, you can learn the basic principles of amigurumi knitting and start creating your own toys. In Japan, they publish entire books dedicated to the lives of these cats, their life and adventures.

Materials:
Yarn (wool, or wool/acrylic, or acrylic) 400m.=100g. primary and white colors.
Hook 1.5

Stuff the head tightly. Place plastic balls (or any granules (small pebbles, bullets, etc.) in the lower part of the body; loosely fill the rest of the body with filler. Also put granules in the lower parts of the arms and legs, do not stuff them. Assemble all the parts, embroider the muzzle.

Funny cat Amineko! First of all, the head and torso are knitted. The knitting pattern for the individual pieces is quite simple.

  • interesting selection for the site!!!
  • An introductory article to amigurumi knitting. Basic techniques and simple toys.

From the first 6 loops we knit 12. Also in the next rows we add 6 loops in each until we get 48 loops. Then we knit 6 rows without adding, after which we begin to decrease the loops in the same way as they were added, 6 in each row. When 18 loops remain, knitting the head is finished.

Torso.

Knitting the body begins in the same way as knitting the head, with 6 loops. Then we also add 6 loops in each row until their total number is 36. After this, 16 rows are knitted without adding, and then we decrease 6 loops in every third row until only 18 loops remain.

Front and hind legs.

They knit the same way. From the initial 6 loops, 12 are knitted, and the next 4 rows are knitted without increments. Next, we decrease 4 loops and knit in a circle without changes with the number of loops of 20 rows.

For the tail, 6 loops are knitted from the loop, and in the last row 2 loops are added to make 8. Next, 21 rows are knitted without changes.

For the ear, 4 loops are knitted, in the next row their number is doubled. Next, in each row you need to add 2 loops (we knit two stitches from one loop, respectively, in subsequent rows after 3,5,5). When there are 14 loops, the ear is finished.

For the muzzle we knit 7 loops and double their number in the next row. Then we knit 8 rows without changes, and in the last one we reduce the number of loops by half. Sew on all parts, embroider the nose and eyes. The cat is ready.

Another option for describing the cat is amineko, a more detailed diagram:
