According to the doctor, the fact that breast enlargement has a bad effect on breastfeeding is a myth.

Another popular myth is loss of sensitivity. As the doctor says, theoretically this is possible, but in practice it rarely happens. It all depends on the surgeon, the person’s anatomy and the size of the implant.

The larger the foreign body, the higher the likelihood that the nerve going to the nipple and areola will be affected (tightened, overstretched). In most cases, sensitivity is not impaired, and in the first months after surgery, some women, on the contrary, experience hypersensitivity. Over time, this passes, the breasts become the same as they were, and it no longer hurts to touch the nipples.

Before surgery, women also ask whether they are likely to develop breast cancer in the future due to implants. The plastic surgeon says that not a single study has proven that the incidence of the disease in any way increases when using implants.

Moreover, there are studies, although not yet proven, that the incidence of cancer from the use of implants, on the contrary, decreases. These assumptions have a right to life, because the implant in the chest puts pressure on the gland, it receives less blood, which means less nutrition. Tumors need a lot of nutrition to develop.
About complications

Breast augmentation surgery is just as serious as any other and should be treated as such. Even with all the professionalism of the surgeon, there can be complications: from the risk of anesthesia to surgical complications. For example, bleeding. The frequency of such a complication is 1%. They don't die from it, but it is there.

Any surgeon who says his clients have had no complications is definitely lying.

Another complication is suppuration. The infection is not fatal, but if it is aggressive, removal of the implant will be required. The only way out, if the desire to have a larger size still remains, is a repeat operation in at least six months.

Another complication is rough scars. The risk is also very small, but it exists.
