MK Chasika hat

On the count of MK hats: yes MK Chasika, my head circumference is 52 cm, I had a set of 70-0-70 wrong side on square 6** 72 rows, then an eyelet.
Bend: 4p pl6**; 2p square 9; 4p square 6**; connecting row pl.10
The outer part of the jacquard is immediately after the bend and eyelet on PL 8.
The outer one is only 66p of the pattern, double decrease, 2p satin stitch, double decrease, a row of satin stitch and tighten with thread. I tied it with thread by adding a thick synthetic thread; angora is not very strong when it comes to tearing.
My layout: back of the head 12 stitches. forehead 10-0-17 the rest for tying the ears.
Don’t rely too much on my numbers, just as a guide - make your own calculations!

little girls, the promised description of a children's hat with ears and a strap across the face. Sorry that it was later than promised, but the children were so sick that I even became close with the pharmacists at the pharmacy.
The entire hat is knitted on one pattern, so many people can knit it. I will describe how I knitted a hat for my daughter and a photo of her.
And so let's get started. Let's start with some calculations. My loop test is 3.5*5r. It is necessary to measure the child’s forehead. I measure from one end of the eyebrow to the end of the next. In my case it is 11.5 cm. I know that many people consider ears as the entire number of loops divided into five, of which 2 parts are the forehead, one part is the back and one part each is the ears. I don’t like it, it sits somehow awkwardly. That's why I think so. Double hat, yarn 32/2 in 4 ends
We cast on 140 loops with waste thread, knit several rows and one row with a cord.
After the row with the cord, I have a carriage on the left. Thread a pink working thread and knit 70 rows. We turn off the meter and forget about it for a while. I’ve adapted to making money this way from scraps and combs.

The carriage is on the left, the levers are on the CV, we push the needles 20-0-70 into the PNP. Remember I said to measure your forehead. For me it is 11.5 cm, i.e. central 40 needles (20-0-20).

We knit a row, wrap the outermost needle with a working thread so that there are no holes and push the 10 needles on the leftmost into the PNP. This is enough for the back for children up to 5-6 years old.

And so we knit, pushing one needle at a time on the opposite side of the carriage in the PNP, not forgetting to wrap the thread around it and rehang the weights. We knit like this until there are 10-12 needles left in the work, you don’t need any less, the ear will not be beautiful. I have 11 needles left. The carriage is on the right, we move the needles on the far left a little so that they are knitted and we knit a ryar. At the same time, remember the last needle on the far right in the PNP. This is my 35th needle. Let's just remember that's all.

So, we knitted one part of the inner one of the ears. we break the thread and remove these needles from work. We move the carriage to the right side and knit the inside of the second ear in the same way. When you finish knitting it, the carriage will be on the right. We turn off the CV levers and change the thread to lilac. I advise you to knit the first such hat in exactly different colors to understand how the strap is knitted. Then you will scald with your eyes closed and the same color. We knit 8 rows at working density, 2 rows looser by 2 units and another 8 rows at working density. I have a working density of 5, 2 loose rows at 7 density, this is where the bar bends.

Now we remove all the weights, take out the comb, slightly extend the needles, but make sure that the loops do not run behind the tongues, otherwise it will be difficult to hang the bar. We take the decker and hang the bar from the very first lilac loops. The first time I did this for a very long time and then I decided that I would not knit like that again. In total, since the beginning of the month I have knitted 9 such hats.

When everything is done, we move all the needles into the PNP, so it’s easier for the machine to knit and we knit one row 2 units looser. The plank is at work, you can’t see it, but you can already touch it

The carriage is on the right, turn on the CV levers, push the needles 35-0-70 into the PNP. Remember when we memorized the needle? This is where we extend the needles. We knit a row, counting 11 needles from the 35th needle. These are the needles that we had left in our work when we knitted our ear. And we push the rightmost needles into the PNP

We knit a row, the carriage is on the right, we push the first needle in the PNP opposite to the carriage a little with our finger so that it is knitted in the future. We knit a row and do the same on the other side. There is no need to wrap the thread around it. Don't forget to hang the weights.

We knit like this until the needles return to work, up to 20 needles, this is our forehead, remember? In this case, the carriage should be on the right. And on the left we push the outermost 10 needles so that they are knitted. You should have it like this

So our ear is knitted, the carriage is on your left. We bring these needles of the tied ear into the PNP, break the thread and move the carriage to the right side. We knit the second ear in the same way. Once you're done with it, you'll have the carriage on the right. We turn off the CV levers, turn on the counter and knit 70 rows, it can be jacquard, it can be stripes or just plain. As you wish.

When our rows are connected, we take the decker in our hands again and hang our very first loops on the needles. A little more and we will remove our beauty from the car. We pull out the double cord, remove the throw, and knit 6 more rows, then hang the loops over one and knit 4 more rows. I knit the very last row at the loosest density, it’s 10*. We cut the thread, leaving it for stitching, knit several rows with a throw and cut it off the machine

Most women have a stole in their wardrobe. This is both a piece of clothing and an accessory that gives the appearance a unique look and elegance. Knitted capes are especially chic.
Hand knitting is a long process. Not everyone can afford to devote a lot of time to it. A good assistant in this matter is a knitting machine. The stole is knitted on a machine quite quickly. Experienced knitters can complete this in one sitting. And for beginners, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in machine knitting and master various techniques and patterns.

A beautiful knitted stole is a wonderful gift for a birthday or holiday. You can quickly knit several different products and give them to family and friends, for example, for the New Year. Or just urgently resolve the issue with the gift.

Another advantage of knitting knitwear by machine is that the fabric is perfectly smooth, even when using very thin threads.

You can knit from yarn of various compositions and almost any thickness. It all depends on the class of the knitting machine and what kind of item is needed - warm and dense to protect against the cold or light openwork to create a finished look for an evening dress. Accordingly, you can knit from wool and wool blends, cotton, silk, viscose, various mixed and fancy types of yarn.

The color range of threads has no restrictions. Here, when choosing, only the taste and wishes of the performer or the future owner of the item play a role.

Various patterns are used to knit a stole on a machine. Most often with openwork weave. Designs can be from simple nets to intricate patterns, such as Scottish lace.

Plating is a false openwork. It is obtained by using two threads, one of which is very thin - fishing line or nylon. The cape knitted in this way has an exquisite jacquard-like pattern.

You can knit a real jacquard from multi-colored threads. Such products are very bright and original. It is even easier to knit them on a machine in a simple knit stitch using section-dyed or melange yarn.

Patterns with press (fung) weave look interesting. The result is a honeycomb-like fabric. The pattern appears on the face and back, and is different, which allows you to wear the item as you like, twisting it and throwing it on different sides.

Using weaving knitting, a weaving pattern reminiscent of a tapestry is imitated. It is made by applying a finishing thread to the wrong side of the fabric.

You can decorate a machine-knitted stole with tassels or crocheting. To maintain its shape, the finished product must be blocked - dried in a stretched, fixed form.

Description of machine and crochet stole

Welcome to my blog! For those who love machine knitting - description of a stole knitted on a Silver double-stitch machine. The border is crocheted.

The stole is gorgeous! She called it “Warm and Cozy.” You throw it over your shoulders, a feeling of bliss... It fits softly, as if hugging your shoulders. Elegant, catchy.

I think the description will be useful for beginners. For those who learn to knit on a Japanese fifth-class Silver machine. In any case, for me this was one of the first products knitted on our brand new Silver 840. If you have any questions, please ask in the comments.

For the stole I used Brilliant VITA yarn in a beautiful bright turquoise color (color No. 4981). Thread composition: 45% wool, 55% acrylic, i.e. this is half wool. Thickness/length: 100 g/380 m.

At first I wanted to knit with a shift weave: on the back needle bed we do stockinette stitch; not all needles work on the PI, but those selected according to the pattern pattern.

But things didn’t work out; the threads tried to jump off the car. In general, having suffered thoroughly, I chose a different weave. And I didn’t regret it. The stole turned out just right - warm and not heavy.

Machine knitting of a warm stole

Description of knitting a stole on a fifth class Silver machine

  • Weave: “elastic band with crochets”. If you also have a Silver class 5 car, read page 71 “Instructions for SK840”.
  • Exhibit: 120 needles, i.e. 60-120-60.
  • During the knitting process, as always, I hung and re-weighed the weights.

I knitted 480 rows from start to finish using the chosen weave. Then she closed the loops and removed the finished stole from the machine.

As far as I remember, I used three skeins of yarn, i.e. three hundred grams.

Tippet size: 130 cm x 50 cm. Almost one and a half meters long and half a meter wide.

As is often the case with many beginners, there were some flaws. In two places along the edge of the canvas the thread was dropped, but I did not immediately notice it. Because at first there was no skill to see and track these problems when knitting on both fonts. Yes, and I still didn’t know how to lift the loops up, completely restoring the pattern. Therefore, I was very upset at first when I saw that almost at the end of knitting (apparently, when I was happy that things were going well, I stopped carefully monitoring the process) there were errors.

I decided to decorate the stole and make it brighter. And, at the same time, disguise your shortcomings. Everything turned out very well. The border not only covered these two places, but completely “absorbed” them. When casting on the initial row of loops along the stole, the defect disappeared into them.

The stole can be thrown over the head

For the border I used Russian yarn. It is very inexpensive, usually sold in small balls of 50 grams. But I like it because, in some cases, light and textured products are obtained from it. Please see a detailed master class about an original beret crocheted from just such a thread. There is also a photo of this yarn, how it looks in skeins, and in balls.

Hook No. 3.

The border is very simple, we use techniques:air loop (VP), single crochet (SC), double crochet (DC), Lush ST. – curvy column: two unfinished DCs with a common top.

I made a cast-on edge along the product, i.e. cast on loops around the perimeter of the stole. I counted the number of loops, multiple of 7 (105 loops, i.e. for 15 reports).

  • First row: one double crochet in the 4th loop from the hook, then *two ch, one dc, skipping two ch*. Repeated * * until the end of the row. I finished it with a double crochet.
  • Second p: four VP (i.e. three lifting loops + 1 VP), 1 sc in the first VP of the first arch from two VPs of the previous row, 3 VP, 1 sc in the first VP of the second arch from two VPs of the previous row ., *9 VP, 1 St.b.n., skipping two arches, in the 1st VP of the next arch., 3 VP, 1 sbnakida in the 1st VP next. arches, (a total of 3 arches should be 4)*. Repeated until the end * *. At the end of the river It turned out just four arches.
  • Third row: 4 VP, one single crochet in the first arch of 3 VPs of the previous row, 3 VP., 1 column. bn next arch, (you get three arches), * 3 VP., 4 Lush. Dc in the middle of the arch from 7 ch, 3 ch, 1 b.n. in the first arch of three VPs, and also 3 VPs, 1 SC in each arch (there should be three arches from 3 VPs in total)*. So the whole row * *.
  • Fourth row: 4 VP., 1 single crochet in an arch of three VPs. prev r., *4 VP., 1 Luxurious SSnakid. between the lush sts of the previous row, 4 ch, (you get 5 lush columns in five arches), 1 sc in the next small arch, 3 ch, 1 sc in the next arch (you should get two arches) *. Repeated * * again.

Openwork stole

Material: yarn No. 32/2 in 2 folds (1600m/100 g) - 250 gr.

Knitting machine: any single-circuit (this model is made on a machine Silver Reed 280 with deck carriage).

Weave:

  • openwork;
  • crochet trim

Density: 4-6

Finished size: 70-72 cm x 160-165 cm.

Any openwork pattern can be used. For this model, we took an openwork pattern from the Brother v.5 - 197 catalog with a “guipure” effect.

Execution technology:

Using an auxiliary thread we make a set of loops - 192 sts + 1 (for sim.) + 4 (edge) = 197 sts. We knit several rows, 1 row with bobbin thread on square 10 and make a set of loops with a working thread. We knit one row with the main carriage from right to left.

Install the card so that one row up to the filling level is visible (1).

Brother - we knit one row from left to right with the main carriage, the card is automatically set to the filling level (1 row). Next we knit, working with two carriages: with the decker carriage we will move the loops along the pattern (one repeat in height - 6, 4, 6, 4 - movements with the carriage), putting the carriage into work on the left side, and with the main carriage we will knit 2 rows of stockinette stitch , working from the right.

Silver - replace the main carriage with a deck carriage, thread the working thread into it and set the density; pattern selection handle - P (smooth surface); side arms - off (to myself). On the needle bar we will install locking stops on the two outer needles of the working area on the left and right so that the loops do not fall off. We knit one row in satin stitch from left to right. The card is set to the filling level. On the carriage, turn on the side levers (from yourself). Next, we knit, switching the pattern selection lever to the second position, while we remove the thread from the carriage and use the carriage to move the loops along the pattern. Return the thread to the carriage and switch the lever to position 1 (stitch stitch) - knit 2 rows.

We knit the fabric of the required length (in this case, 566 rubles were knitted), close the loops without tightening, preferably with a decker, and do not throw them off the needles, but knit a few more rows with waste thread after the closed edge.

Remove the fabric, carefully fold it in half and sweep it, lightly steam it through damp gauze, without touching the fold line. Let it dry a little, then remove the basting, unfold and steam the entire product again.

Let's take 3 strands of yarn. and crochet all the edges. You can come up with your own version of the binding, the main thing is that the edges of the fabric do not wrap too much.

Crochet finish:

Long sides tied hem of X-shaped posts. This hemstitch does not give much stretch, because... the outer edge is secured. In addition, we can discreetly perform a small adjustment to the edge of the canvas.

Short sides tied "fans". If desired, you can cut the yarn folded into a skein into equal pieces and make long tassels. To do this, fold each individual skein in half, insert a loop catcher or hook under the air loop of the “fan”, grab the loop of the skein and pull it slightly towards you, then thread the ends into the resulting loop and tighten slightly.
