Crochet knitted skirt for girls, description:

To knit this skirt, it is best to take 50g/169m cotton yarn. and hook No. 3.

Let's start knitting a skirt not with the usual set of chain stitches, but as follows: knit 4 chain stitches (VP), then knit a double crochet stitch in the first V.P. and again knit 4 V.P. and then we knit a double crochet into the previous double crochet. Thus, 4 V.P. and repeat the double crochet stitch until a strip equal to the circumference of the baby’s hips comes out.

Having knitted according to pattern 1 to the required length, we begin to knit the lower frill (the place where the frill is attached is shown as an oval in pattern 1). We knit the frill according to pattern 2.

Having knitted the bottom frill, we go up 4 rows (see photo) and in the fifth row, as shown in diagram 1 (in the oval), we knit the middle frill according to diagram 2, and do the same with the top frill.

Top of the skirt We knit according to pattern 3, starting knitting from the top of the lower part of the skirt.

Thus, our skirt is knitted, all that remains is to knit the belt by making a long chain from V.P. and knit 1 row of single crochets on the chain. Decorate the edges of the belt with flowers and insert the belt into the holes as shown in the photo.

Flower.

We collect a chain of 6 V.P. and connect them into a ring with a connecting post. Next, we knit a half double crochet into a ring, 3 double crochets, a half double crochet, we have one petal ready, in total we need to knit 5 petals into a ring.

Crocheted openwork skirt for girls. The skirt is knitted in the round, starting from the elastic at the top.

Yarn: Etamin (100% acrylic, 250 m/50 g).
Hook: No. 1.5

Skirt
knitted for a height of 98 cm. This skirt took 100 grams. blue yarn + white
yarn for tying the hem of the skirt and lace. To knit a skirt
larger or smaller size - you need to take an elastic band of the required length
(child's waist circumference). The number of arches in the measured elastic band should be
multiples of 3. Depending on the child’s height, reduce or increase the height
yoke and change the height of the skirt frill by knitting the desired pattern
number of times.

Crochet description: Crochet skirt

We measure the elastic band to the required length - the number of elastic arches should be a multiple of 3.
We sew the elastic band. We tie an elastic band around the perimeter - 3 double crochets in each arch.
Next, we knit the skirt yoke according to the pattern.

At a height of 10-11 cm, we proceed to knitting the openwork frill of the skirt.

The frill of the skirt is knitted with a "Pineapples" pattern.
Patterns for the skirt below
Crochet a lace from air loops into two threads. Thread the lace

I saw this wonderful skirt from a craftswoman Olga Verenich . She knitted this product from thread “Successful pekhorka” (50 gr./220 m.), for ages 4-5 years, hook No. 1.5, consumption of 4 skeins of thread (total 200 gr.).

I knitted my skirt from thread “CoCo” (vita cotton) - 50 g/240 m, for ages 6-7 years, consumption 6 skeins (main color - 300 g) and 1 skein (white color - 50 g), hook No. 1, 5.

1.Getting started: It is necessary to tie the belt around the hips. 1 rub.: We knit a “pigtail” of 17 air loops, 3 ch. for lifting; turning the work around. 2 rubles: We knit a double crochet (st. s/n) 4 ch from the hook, then knit 1 tbsp into each air loop of the “braid” to the end. s/n. It should be 17 tbsp. s/n; * 3 v.p. for lifting; turn the work. 3 rubles: We knit 1 double crochet in each double crochet of the bottom row. * Repeat from * Knit like this until you get a belt of the required length (diagram 1).

2. We connect the resulting belt. I crocheted my belt without breaking the working thread, half double crochet. To do this, I folded the edges of the product together with the right sides facing each other. Next, insert the hook into the loops of both parts, grab the working thread and pull it through both loops, while maintaining minimal tension. So we knit from the edge to the end of the other edge. Then the working thread was not broken.

3. Now we knit the fillet mesh from the waistband.

1 rub.: 3rd century p. for lifting, 1 in. p., 1 tbsp. s/n at the base of the belt (between double crochets), again 1 st. p., 1 tbsp. s/n at the base of the belt, and so on until the end of the row. We connect each row with a connecting loop; 2 r. - 7 rubles: 3rd century p. for lifting, 1 in. p., 1 tbsp. s/n in a double crochet of the bottom row and so on until the end of each row (see diagram 2.).

8 rubles: In this row we make an increase every 10 sts. s/n, knit an additional 1 tbsp. s/n and 1 vp (diagram 3).

We will knit ruffles for each such row. The length of the fillet mesh depends on how many rows of ruffle you need.

My skirt consists of 5 rows of ruffle, i.e. 1-. I knitted a ruffle from the edge of the waistband, the 2nd ruffle from the 8th row of the fillet mesh, the 3rd ruffle from the 16th row of the mesh, the 4th ruffle from the 24th row of the mesh, the 5th ruffle from the 32nd row (last) of the mesh. Accordingly, the addition in the fillet mesh was made in 8, 16, 24 rows, except for the 32nd row (the last one). In the first ruffle there were 38 reports, in the second there were 43 rapports, in the third ruffle there were 47 rapports, and in the fourth and fifth ruffles there were 52 reports each.

4. After the mesh is knitted, we begin knitting the ruffles. We knit the first ruffle from the edge of the belt (diagram 4).

We knit the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th ruffles from the fillet mesh - from those rows where we made the addition and from the last row of the mesh (diagram 5).

Each ruffle consists of seven rows. I knitted the 6th and 7th row with white thread. This is of course according to your desire and imagination.

5. Now we need to take a hat elastic (slightly less than the circumference of the hips), sew its edges and, using a binding, attach it to the top of the belt. I took the hat elastic to match the color of the main thread, and tied it with white thread alternating 2 tbsp. b/n at the base of the belt with 1 tbsp. b/n.

6. When our skirt is knitted, let's start decorating. Need to link 4 openwork stripes (loop loops) under the strap. I also knitted them with white thread.

Beginning of work: we knit a “pigtail” of 3 vp, 3 vp. lifting, turning the work, * knit 1 tbsp. s/n in the next two air loops “braids”; again 3 ch. lifting, turning the work.* Repeat from * 6 more times. In total you should get 7 rows from the st. s/n. Now, without tearing off the working thread, make 3 ch. rise and knit in a circle into arches (see diagram 6).

7. We attach belt loops to the waistband of our skirt. It is necessary to iron the skirt, preferably through a waffle towel. Next, take a satin ribbon of the required length, thread it through the belt loops, and make a bow.

8. If the satin ribbon is not processed, then you need to do the following: 1) Take a board (wooden cutting board). 2) Take a knife (which you don’t mind) and heat it over the fire (on the stove - burner). 3) Place one edge of the satin ribbon on the board and carefully trim the edge with a hot knife (preferably with a quick movement so as not to leave yellow or black spots on the ribbon). We also process the other edge of the tape.

That's all - our skirt is ready.

Knitted skirts with ruffles look incredibly festive. Their use is especially important when making things for children. Any girl in such a skirt will look like a real princess.

Progress:

  1. Knit the base, to which the ruffle itself will be attached in the future, using a mesh or lattice.
  2. Cast on three chain loops, perform a double crochet in the second turn, again chain a loop and a double crochet. Knit according to this pattern until the end of the row.
  3. Knit the ruffle along the knitted grid, increasing the number of columns if desired.

Tip: to give the skirt maximum volume, the lattice is made not single, but double.

  • the number of loops and reports can be changed. In this way you can adjust the size of the future product;
  • Calculating the amount of yarn needed to complete the job is quite simple. For a size 44 pencil skirt with a length around the middle of the knee, you will need no more than two skeins. If you plan to knit a full-length skirt, then you should stock up on at least seven skeins. In cases where a very tight knit is chosen, even more materials will be needed;
  • The first work is best done by knitting the product in a circle. In this case, there will be no need to sew the blanks together;
  • any old skirt can be improved by tying an openwork border around the edge;
  • You should immediately decide on the length of the future product. It should be taken into account that viscose yarn can stretch after washing;
  • the choice of yarn and hooks should be approached very responsibly. It is the materials and tools that directly determine how the final product will look like;
  • To make wardrobe items airy and voluminous, it is recommended to use waves and ruffles in the design.

Crochet for beginners: skirt (video)

Crochet skirt for girls (video)

Among the many ways to make skirts yourself, special attention should be paid to crocheting. The technique is so simple that even a beginner knitter can master it. In the process of work, you do not need to make patterns and take a huge number of measurements. You just need to choose the model you like and understand the scheme for its implementation. Knitting will turn out to be a very exciting, exciting process, as a result of which it will be possible to create a simply ideal product that meets all the requirements of the needlewoman.

A skirt is one of the main items of women's clothing, personifying femininity and tenderness. An openwork crocheted skirt can highlight the beauty and elegance of a lady of any age. Whether it's a little girl or an adult woman. I present to your attention the Master Class “Simple Crocheted Knitted Skirt with Pattern”.

I suggest crocheting a skirt for a 5 year old girl. If you add the number of loops in the belt and the number of ruffles in the length of the product, you will get the same model for older girls or young ladies. You can also take as a basis the ruffle pattern that will be presented in one of the photos, and you will get a crochet knitted skirt for women. There is room for imagination, but for now let’s start working on a children’s crocheted skirt with a pattern.

To work you will need:

  • Yarn: SOSO (Vita cotton) 100% mercerized cotton 50 g / 240 m. Color: 4304. Consumption: 400 g.
  • Tools: hook No. 1.9.

Step 1. Forming the belt

For a waist circumference of 50 cm you need to cast on 126 chain stitches. The repeat of our product is 14, so no matter how many loops you cast for the size you need, the number should be a multiple of 14. We close our chain into a circle using a connecting loop and begin to knit circular rows with half double crochets. Be careful to ensure that the number of stitches does not decrease during knitting. We knit 4 rows with half double crochets, then one row with double crochets. This row is intended for a belt or satin ribbon. (photo 2)

Step 2. Knitting a ruffle

Now let's start creating the ruffle. The photo shows the knitting pattern that we will follow.

We start with the second row shown in the diagram. For us this will be 1 row.

1st row: make 1 lifting loop, 5 chain loops, skip 3 loops of the previous row and starting from the fourth loop, knit 11 double crochets. After which we repeat the rapport: ch 5, st 11. b/n. And so on until the end of the row.

Row 2 begins with four chain stitches, followed by 10 double crochets, which are knitted behind the 5 chain stitches of the previous row. 3 air loops, 1 double crochet is knitted into the 6th loop of the previous row, which consists of 11 tbsp. with a double crochet, then again 3 ch. and 11 tbsp. with two double crochets, knitted in a chain of five air loops.

4th row: knitting is similar to the third row, only between each st. with a double crochet, not 1 ch, but 2 ch. And between the ruffles 1 ch is knitted. instead of 3 ch.

We knit the 5th row according to the pattern. At the end we cut the thread.

Step 3. Creating the base of the skirt

We begin knitting the base under the ruffles. We connect the thread to the last row of the belt, while turning away the ruffle.

The base of the skirt consists of 4 rows, connected with double crochets. Next, the ruffle pattern is repeated.

What is attractive about this knitting method is that in the future you can tie up any number of ruffles. In this case, the model itself does not need to be unraveled or bandaged in any way.

Step 4. Expansion

If you repeat all the knitting according to the pattern proposed above, then the skirt will turn out straight. In order to change the style of a crocheted skirt and make it more flared, after every third row of ruffles, you should evenly increase the number of loops in the base by 14. Thus, the row of ruffles increases by 1 element. If you add more loops, then the skirt will be more openwork and wider. But you must remember that you can add loops in multiples of 14.

Step 5. The whole process

Let us briefly repeat the entire process of creating a crochet knitted skirt. First we knit the belt, then the ruffle and break the thread. We re-attach the thread to the belt under the ruffles and knit the base for the skirt, then start knitting the ruffle again. At the end we cut the thread. And the whole process is repeated again until the desired length is reached. In this case, we needed 7 rows of ruffle, which corresponds to 22 cm. Plus 7 cm of elastic. It turns out that the total length of a children's skirt for a height of 110 cm is 29 cm.

Step 6. Decor

As a decoration, we will insert a satin ribbon into a row that was knitted in double crochets. As an option, you can knit an openwork belt from the same yarn and also thread it into the space provided for it. Our skirt is not elastic, so the belt will also serve its intended purpose, that is, it will hold the skirt on the figure.

If you take another yarn, for example, mohair, you will get a warm crocheted skirt. This will not affect the beauty of the product in any way.
