Work calendar with holidays and weekends

The production calendar shows the standard working hours for months, quarters and 2014 as a whole for 40-, 36- and 24-hour work weeks, as well as the number of working days and days off for a five-day work week with two days off.

According to Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Labor Code of the Russian Federation) (as amended by Federal Law No. 35-FZ of April 23, 2012), non-working holidays in the Russian Federation are:

The Labor Code of the Russian Federation establishes that if a day off coincides with a non-working holiday, the day off is transferred to the next working day after the holiday. The exception is weekends that coincide with non-working holidays in January. The changes made to Art. 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, Federal Law No. 35-FZ dated April 23, 2012, provides that the Government of the Russian Federation has the right to transfer two days off from the number of days off that coincide with non-working January holidays to other days in the next calendar year.

In accordance with part five of Art. 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, for the purpose of rational use by employees of weekends and non-working holidays, weekends may be transferred to other days by the Government of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the procedure for transferring days off is clearly regulated. It has been established that the regulatory legal act of the Government of the Russian Federation on the transfer of days off to other days in the next calendar year is subject to official publication no later than a month before the start of the corresponding calendar year. The adoption of normative legal acts on the transfer of days off to other days during the calendar year is permitted subject to the official publication of these acts no later than two months before the calendar date of the established day off.

Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated May 28, 2013 N 444 “On the transfer of days off in 2014” due to the coincidence of holiday non-working days on January 4 and 5 with Saturday and Sunday, and February 23 with Sunday, provides for the transfer of days off from Saturday January 4 to Friday 2 May, Sunday 5 January to Friday 13 June and Monday 24 February to Monday 3 November.

Thus, taking into account the transfer of days off in 2014, the period of New Year holidays for employees will be 8 days - from January 1 to 8, 2014. In May 2014, the duration of workers' rest associated with the Spring and Labor Festival will be 4 days - from 1 to May 4, and the rest periods associated with the celebration of Victory Day will be 3 days - from May 9 to 11, and for National Unity Day - 4 days (from November 1 to 4). In this case, the norm of Art. 110 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, according to which the duration of weekly continuous rest should not be less than 42 hours.

Federal Law of July 22, 2008 N 157-FZ Article 91 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation was supplemented with part three as follows:

“The procedure for calculating the norm of working time for certain calendar periods (month, quarter, year) depending on the established duration of working time per week is determined by the federal executive body exercising the functions of developing state policy and legal regulation in the field of labor.”

Currently, there is a procedure for calculating working time standards for certain calendar periods of time (month, quarter, year) depending on the established duration of working hours per week, approved by order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia dated August 13, 2009 N 588n.

In accordance with this Procedure, this norm is calculated according to the estimated schedule of a five-day working week with two days off on Saturday and Sunday, based on the duration of daily work (shift), for example, with a 40-hour work week - 8 hours, with a work week of 36 hours it will be 7.2 hours; with a 24-hour work week - 4.8 hours.

The length of the working day or shift immediately preceding a non-working holiday is reduced by one hour. In 2014, such pre-holiday working days are March 7, April 30, May 8, June 11 and December 31. The duration of work on Monday, February 24, is also reduced by one hour, since according to the current Procedure, in cases where, in accordance with a decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, a day off is transferred to a working day, the duration of work on this day (former day off) must correspond to the duration of the working day, to which the day off was moved (in this case, November 3 was a pre-holiday day).

The standard working time calculated in the specified order applies to all work and rest regimes.

For example, in January 2014, with a five-day work week with two days off, there would be 17 work days and 14 days off.

Working hours this month will be:

with a 40-hour work week - 136 hours

(8 hours x 17 days);

with a 36-hour work week - 122.4 hours

(7.2 hours x 17 days);

with a 24-hour work week - 81.6 hours

(4.8 hours x 17 days).

In 2014, with a five-day work week with two days off, there will be 247 working days, including the 6 working days shortened by one hour as indicated above, and 118 weekends and non-working holidays.

The standard working hours in 2014 will be:

with a 40-hour work week - 1,970 hours

(8 hours x 247 days - 6 hours);

with a 36-hour work week - 1,772.4 hours

(7.2 hours x 247 days - 6 hours);

with a 24-hour work week - 1,179.6 hours

(4.8 hours x 247 days - 6 hours).

Production calendar for 2014 and commentary on it

developed by 1st Class Advisor of the Russian Federation

The most anticipated days of the year for any Russian (well, besides his birthday, of course) are national holidays, which allow you to take a break from hard everyday life, and sometimes even take yourself a mini-vacation. How many holidays and weekends will there be in Russia in 2014?

First, let us remind you which holidays in Russia are considered official days off. First of all, these are the New Year holidays and Christmas - from January 1 to 8.

Then Defender of the Fatherland Day - February 23 and International Women's Day - March 8. May 1 is the Spring and Labor Festival, May 9 is Victory Day.

We celebrate Russia Day on June 12, and National Unity Day on November 4. Now let’s talk in more detail about how long we will rest on the occasion of these holidays.

New Year 2014

The longest official holiday for adults is coming very soon. This time, Krasnoyarsk residents, like residents of other regions of Russia, will rest for eight days - from January 1 to January 8. Tuesday, December 31, 2013 will be a shortened day, and the first working day in 2014 will be Thursday, January 9. As previously reported, “for the purpose of rational use by employees of weekends and non-working holidays,” the weekends of January 4 and 5 (Saturday and Sunday), coinciding with non-working holidays, are transferred on May 2 and June 13, respectively.

Let us remind you that the last New Year holidays lasted 10 days.

Men's and Women's Day

In 2014, February 23 - Defender of the Fatherland Day- we will celebrate on Sunday, thanks to which everyone is provided with an extra day of rest - it will be provided on November 3. In March There will be no postponements, but women are much luckier - the weekend will be three whole days - from March 8 (Saturday) to March 10 (Monday).

May holidays

Rejoice, people! In May 2014, we are looking forward to two short weeks in a row! From May 1 to May 4 (as you remember, May 2 became a day off thanks to the January Saturday), days off are provided due to Spring and Labor Festival, so there will be only three working days in a week. And next week on Friday the whole country will celebrate Victory Day - we will rest for three days, until Monday.

Summer and November holidays

Public holidays this year will also bring a lot of joy. In the summer we will have Russia Day, which will give us four days off at once - from June 12 to 15 inclusive, and in the fall - National Unity Day, and four more days off - from November 1 to 4.

Please note that in 2014, not a single regular weekend will be affected by the postponement of holidays. You can devote all Saturdays and all Sundays to yourself and your loved ones.

Holidays and non-working days in 2014 in the Russian Federation

According to Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, non-working holidays in 2014 are:

January 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 – New Year holidays,
January 7 – Christmas,
February 23 – Defender of the Fatherland Day,
March 8 – International Women's Day,
May 1 – Spring and Labor Festival,
May 9 – Victory Day,
June 12 – Russia Day,
November 4 – National Unity Day

Explanations to the resolution "On the postponement of holidays in 2014"

According to the draft resolution, in order to rationally use weekends and non-working holidays by employees, it is proposed that the weekends of January 4 and 5 (Saturday and Sunday), coinciding with non-working holidays, be moved to May 2 and June 13, respectively.
Considering that February 23 coincides with Sunday, it is proposed to move this day off (Sunday) to November 3.
Thus, the winter holiday period will be 8 days - from January 1 to January 8, 2014. There will be a three-day rest period in March, coinciding with the celebration of International Women's Day (8 to 10 March). In May 2014, a four-day rest period is provided, coinciding with the celebration of the Spring and Labor Festival (from May 1 to May 4); a three-day rest period coinciding with the celebration of Victory Day from May 9 to 11. In June 2014 there is a four-day rest period coinciding with the celebration of Russia Day (from June 12 to 15). In November 2014, there was a four-day rest period coinciding with the celebration of National Unity Day (from November 1 to November 4).

The transfer of days off is proposed in order to eliminate situations of their transfer in the current order on the eve of the corresponding holidays, as well as for the purpose of rational planning of working time in organizations and taking into account the interests of Russians in creating conditions for proper rest and leisure activities not only in winter, but also in spring period.

The proposed transfers of weekends will make it possible to comply with the norm of Article 110 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation that there should be at least 42 hours of continuous rest between two working weeks.

Working time standards for 2014

The standard working time for 2014 in Russia with a 40-hour work week is 1970 hours.

The average monthly number of working hours in 2014 was 164.17 hours.

According to the production calendar in 2014, with a five-day working week with two days off, there will be 247 working days, including 6 working days shortened by one hour (February 24, March 7, April 30, May 8, June 11 and December 31), and 118 days off, taking into account 4 additional days of rest (March 10, May 2, June 13, November 3) due to the coincidence of non-working holidays January 4 - 5, February 23, March 8 with days off.

  • with a 36-hour work week: 1772.4 hours (247 * 7.2 - 6);
  • with a 24-hour work week: 1179.6 hours (247 * 4.8 - 6).
