Your first real anniversary is your fifth anniversary! Competitions, games, relay races. How to have a fun birthday party at home Interesting games for a 5 year old birthday

Let's get acquainted

It happens that at home parties there are children in the company who do not know each other. How to make them friends? Of course, by offering to play, then no one will have any awkwardness.

Children join hands and stand in a circle. Inside the circle is the birthday boy or the chosen leader. All children, on command or to the soundtrack of a cheerful children's song, begin to move in a circle to the right. The birthday boy goes to the left, facing the guests. At the command “stop” or a pause in the music, all children stop. The birthday boy meets the child who happens to be opposite him. The game is repeated as many times as there are children in the circle, so that the hero of the occasion can get to know everyone. An adult stops the music and says “stop” when meeting children who are still unfamiliar.

If all the children know each other, this game can be played differently. Everyone who stops at the signal in front of the birthday boy congratulates him and gives him compliments.

Formula 1

A rope of the same length (3-4 meters) is tied to two sticks (pencils can be used). The free ends of the ropes are tied by machine. The “finish line” that both players are facing can be marked with a ribbon or drawn with chalk.

The rest command: “One, two three, start!” Two players begin to quickly wrap strings around pencils. Whose car crosses the finish line first wins.

Then the next pair competes. The winners advance to the semi-finals and compete against each other. The champion is awarded a “super prize”.

Vanya - simplicity

This children's folk game “Vanya-Simplicity” is suitable for a company with no more than five children, and the room is quite spacious.

Children stand up like a train, that is, one after another, with their hands on the shoulders of the person in front. They begin to follow the leader, “Vanya”. At the same time they say: “Vanya, Vanya-simplicity, I bought a horse without a tail.” At the words “he sat down backwards and went to the garden,” everyone moves in the opposite direction, backwards. Then they stop and say: “One, two, three, catch!” After this, the children scatter in different directions, and “Vanya” catches the players.

Instead of the name “Vanya,” you should say the name of the child standing first. For example, “Sasha-simplicity”. When the game is repeated, the next child becomes the driver (Misha, Misha-simplicity).

Mistress

Two or three people participate in the competition. It is necessary to separate peas, beans and beans mixed in a cup into separate piles, or beads of two or three types, or pasta - feathers, horns and shells. You can offer this mixture to each player in their own separate container. These can be glasses or salt shakers of the same size. Then the winner is the one who sorts out all the contents of his bowl first.

If there are no three identical small vessels, you can mix everything in one large cup, sit the players around it and give them a certain time. Whoever, within the allotted time (no more than three minutes!) has more piles sorted on the table in front of him, wins.

Try to guess

An adult asks the children to guess how many nuts or sweets are in a transparent jar. Or how much this toy weighs (what length, height). Or what page is the bookmark on in the book, if there are so many pages in total? Determine by touch what is in this bag. Or guess what is in a closed box that cannot be opened, but can be picked up, shaken, turned over, etc.

Children express their versions. Whoever guesses it or whose answer is closer to the truth is awarded this box, jar along with its contents, book or toy as a prize.

Naturally, when preparing the material, an adult himself carefully recalculates, measures, weighs it and remembers the correct answer.

Take a chair

Each child, except one, comes out with their own chair. The chairs make a circle. Free space is left between the chairs so that a person can easily pass.

The presenter turns on the music, or rings the tambourine, or rhythmically claps his hands. Children walk around the chairs. As soon as the sounds stop, each player tries to occupy any chair. The one who does not have enough space is eliminated from the game.

Another chair is removed, and if there are many players, then two or three chairs at once.

The game continues until one of the two most dexterous children is on the last remaining chair. He is a winner.

Greedy

This competition requires a lot of balls or balloons. From two to four participants compete. Each of them tries to collect and hold as many of the named objects as possible.

You can make the task more difficult. Each player is given three attempts, during which he must take and move as many balls as possible to his corner.

Whoever succeeds in this is declared the main... greedy. If you feel that this might offend your child rather than make him laugh, don’t say this word! The prize is awarded to the winner in any case.

Who's lucky?

Children split up in twos and stand up pair by pair. Couples raise their clasped hands. All pairs run forward one by one through the resulting gate from behind. Thus, each last pair, having run between all the children, becomes the first for a while.

All pairs gradually move back together so as not to go beyond the space allocated for the game. It is advisable that the game be accompanied by cheerful music.

The driver stands in front of the players with his back to them. This could be a parent, a character, or a birthday person. He has several paired prizes, for example: two pens, two markers, two lollipops, two bookmarks, two notepads, etc.

When the driver says “stop!”, the players (and the music) stop. The driver, without turning around, says: “This pair of chocolates!” Then he turns and gives sweet prizes to the couple who happened to be directly behind him at that moment (that is, the first couple). The couple that is ahead at the word “stop!” next time may receive notebooks or bookmarks.

The game is played until the driver runs out of prizes. It is possible that some couples will not receive prizes at all, and some will receive two or three times. It depends on how lucky you are!

Dance with tasks

Children dance freely to their favorite music. The leader from time to time shouts out command words, which the dancers must immediately carry out. For example, the leader can ask everyone to continue dancing in pairs or threes, follow the birthday boy in a chain or snake, then change into a round dance, etc.

Congratulations with a song

The birthday boy walks out the door. Guests choose which song they will perform for him. For example, they decide to sing the chorus from “Song of the Crocodile Gena.”

All participants must say one word from this song, and at the same time. Therefore, they agree on who will speak and which word from the selected song. If there are many children, then they are divided into groups, each of which is assigned its own word.

You must exclaim together, on command (for example, by waving your hand). Some shout “unfortunately”, others (at the same time) - “day”, others - “birthday”, fourth - “only”, etc.

Upon returning, the birthday boy must guess what song the guests want to sing for him. If he guessed correctly, then he listens with pleasure or sings this song with the guests.

If the song is not guessed the first time, then with a wave of the organizer’s hand the words are repeated again. Thus, the hero of the occasion is given a second chance to hear and guess the song, and those congratulating them are given the opportunity to finally sing it, to the delight of themselves and the birthday boy.

At the New Year's party, Father Frost or Snow Maiden may come out of the hall, and the children, divided into three teams, shout out the words “in the forest,” “born,” and “Christmas tree.” On March 8, dad and children can perform their favorite song for mom in the same way.

Birthday

The guests dance in a circle to the right. The birthday boy moves inside the circle to the left. He sentences or hums (the melody is arbitrary):

I'll go in circles

I'll find a pair for myself.

Come on, Olenka (Sasha) - my friend,

Come out to the circle with me!

The birthday boy brings the chosen child into the circle. The game can then develop in three different ways.

First option

The “buddy” and the birthday boy dance in a circle, and the other children clap. Later they can also join in the dance.

Second option

The birthday boy and the invitee dance together in a circle. Then each of them invites a new partner. Now two couples are dancing in a circle. Then each of these four chooses another “buddy” for himself, and in the middle there are already four couples dancing. And so on until all the children are invited to dance.

Third option

The birthday boy ends his text with these words:

You and I should drive now,

Let's start catching everyone!

The game turns into “catch-up”. The birthday boy and his “buddy” catch the rest of the children. The players scatter, but freeze in place or leave and sit down if the drivers touch them.

The birthday boy and the “buddy” can arrange a competition among themselves to see who can catch the most players. In this case, each caught child goes to the side assigned to the driver who caught him.

Find and name

If the holiday is held in a cramped room, crowded with furniture, where there is no opportunity for outdoor games, you can give the guests of the birthday boy the task of finding as many words in the room as possible starting with the same letter. The birthday person indicates the letter by opening his favorite book on some page.

Or they look for objects that begin with the same letter as the name of the hero of the occasion. For example, for Sasha they will name words starting with the letter “c” (glass, wall, chair, candle, salad). And for Katya they will choose words starting with the letter “k” (book, chair, cat, baby, ketchup, fireplace). The participant who names the most words with one letter wins.

Cat and mice

The driver is a “cat” (you can tie a bow around your neck), the rest of the participants are “mice”. The “cat” sits on a chair and pretends to be sleeping. The “mice” carefully, on their toes, move around the room around the cat or scattered and say, first very quietly, then louder and louder:

Tra-ta-ta, tra-ta-ta,

We are not afraid of the cat.

We are a cat

Let's turn the gate!

The “cat” wakes up, meows and catches up with the mice. It is prohibited to touch the “cat” during “sleep”!

Bread

Russian folk needle

Children are divided into two teams. There are equal numbers of players in each of them, and they stand next to each other. The teams are located on the same straight line facing each other. It is desirable that the distance between the teams be large enough.

In the center of the court, on the same line with the teams, strictly in the middle between them, one child squats. This is "bread". He is chosen by counting in advance.

All players, except for “bread”, begin to pronounce the words in chorus:

That's how tall

(raise hands up)

That's how wide

(spread arms to the sides)

Cut and eat!

(clap their hands for “cut”)

After the clap, the first players of both teams rush out of their seats and try to be the first to run and touch the “bread”. The player who succeeds takes the “bread” and takes it to his team. They stand behind the rest of the players. The less fortunate player of the opposing team becomes the “bread” himself and sits in his place.

The game is repeated. The same words are said in chorus again and the same actions are performed, but now the next players of both teams (now they are the first) compete for the “bread”.

The game ends when all members of both teams compete with each other. The team with more players wins. This means that they took “bread” for themselves more often.

If your baby is already between the ages of 5 and 7 years, you have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate his birthday not only fun, but also useful. The fact is that during this period the child’s personality develops at a rapid pace in all areas of life. For boys and girls during this period:

  • intelligence and conscious curiosity increase;
  • control over emotions appears;
  • willpower and moral concepts appear;
  • physical strength and endurance increases.

Where to celebrate a birthday

The main thing is that the child is no longer afraid of animators, magicians, or any other professionals in the field of children's entertainment, but, on the contrary, is glad to see them and really wants to take part in some exciting adventure or watch an experimental show. The birthday of a child aged 5-7 years can be celebrated in any place you like, respectively, with or without animators. Such a place could be:

  • children's cafe or restaurant. There are a lot of them now and all conditions for family leisure have been created there.
  • Entertainment Center;
  • nature;
  • game room;
  • museum.

Planning your child's birthday yourself

If you have not entrusted the organization of an event for your child to professionals entirely, then you will need to draw up a celebration plan in advance (about 2 weeks before the long-awaited event) with traditional points:

  • place and time of the event;
  • booking a hall (it is important to do this in advance);
  • number of guests;
  • menu;
  • accessories;
  • program and script of the holiday and entertainment;
  • gifts for the birthday boy and guests;

Remember that some children's institutions have their own rules for holding holidays, so you need to clarify them in advance. Also ask about the possibility of bringing any food or drinks with you. In some places this is strictly prohibited, so to avoid any unpleasant surprises, it is better to find out everything in advance.

When organizing a children's event, parents always bear a lot of responsibility and stress. Therefore, it is better to think through all the little details of the holiday in advance, otherwise, in haste and nervousness, you can miss something important and spoil the joy of the child and his little guests.

Entertainment program for children's birthday

Sometimes parents celebrate the birthdays of children aged 5 - 7 years (especially 5) at home. In this case, it is very important to carefully consider the entertainment program yourself. It's best to start by congratulating the birthday person. This process should be organized in a non-standard way to immediately set the tone for the holiday. For example, the voices of your favorite cartoon characters will be just appropriate in this case. You can also congratulate your child in the costume of some funny animal or a character from his favorite cartoon, or arrange a good one.

After the procedure for presenting gifts, you can begin games and competitions.

Games and competitions for the birthday of a child aged 5-7 years

Fun balls

Fun traffic light

This game involves a presenter wearing clothes of three traffic light colors. The children's task is to cross the road, carefully listening to the leader's commands. If the leader says “red,” then only the players whose clothes contain red can cross the road, and the rest need to run so that the traffic light leader doesn’t hit them with the ball. The one who gets caught becomes the traffic light leader himself.

Happy wave

Two adults stretch out a long, wide cloth and wave it as if it were a storm at sea. Dolphin players try to run under the fabric so that it does not hit them. If the cloth touches the dolphin, it is eliminated from the game.

Guess what!

In this game, the leader thinks of a word on a certain topic, which he tells the children. Participants must guess the word by asking leading questions, to which the presenter answers in monosyllables: “yes” or “no.”

Nickname

Children stand in a circle and throw a ball to each other, coming up with a cute nickname based on the character and appearance of the person to whom the ball is flying. For example, a girl with white skin is Snow White.

The main thing in this game is that the assembled company be friendly and polite, and indeed, give each other only pleasant nicknames.

Cat and mouse

The favorite game of millions, especially those who attended kindergarten.))) Participants form a circle, holding hands. A player is placed inside the circle to represent the mouse. And the cat player becomes outside the circle. Her task is to get inside and catch the mouse. Children in a round dance actively prevent the cat from achieving its goal. The cat tries to crawl under the circle, jump over it, or break the chain of intertwined hands of the participants. If she succeeds, then the children must immediately release the mouse from the circle and hold the cat in it. The game lasts until the cat grabs the mouse.

Windball

To play, you will need a plastic cap from a plastic bottle of water or lemonade. It is placed on the table exactly in the middle. Players are divided into 2 teams and located on both sides of the table. Each team begins to blow on the lid, trying to blow it into the opponent's territory.\

The goal is to score a goal for your opponents. Pushing the object with your hands or other objects is prohibited. The winning team receives a prize - a cup with their favorite drink.

This year we played this kind of air hockey. The children really liked the game. I had to play several matches)))

Strongmen

Game-mood and warm-up for facial muscles and... abs. The children are given markers. They should be placed between the baby's nose and upper lip. The participants' task is to hold the felt-tip pen in place for as long as possible. And the task of adults is to make the “strong people” laugh.

Taster

One of the participants is blindfolded and put in his mouth a piece of something tasty: orange, candy, banana, apple, plum, pear (prepare a wide assortment). The player must taste what is in his mouth. When a child makes a mistake, another player takes his place.

Repeat the movement

The guests present sit in a circle. The first participant shows the movement. The second player repeats the same movement, but adds his own. The third participant repeats the two movements and also adds something of his own... and so on in turn. The hardest part is for the last player, who must repeat all previous movements without error. The one who gets lost is out of the game.

Giants and dwarfs

The adult presenter takes turns pronouncing the words: “dwarfs” - everyone must squat; “giants” - everyone needs to stand on their feet. The game requires attentiveness and good coordination of movements.

The GM is allowed to confuse the players. For example, he can give false commands: “Cucumbers!”, “Cow!”. A participant who mixed up the team or was not attentive enough is eliminated from the game.

Watch a few more games for a large group of kids in this video:

Take care in advance of a reward for the losing participants, or better yet, small gifts for all participants. And winning and losing will be secondary. Give your children a cute souvenir, a small toy, or something sweet from the table.

After games and entertainment, invite children and their parents to the table. After the gala dinner, be sure to bring in a cake with the required number of candles so that the birthday boy can blow them out and make his deepest wish to the accompaniment of cheerful music.

Feast for children and adults

By the way, at this age children are already beginning to understand whether the celebration is beautifully decorated. Therefore, it will not be superfluous to take care of the festive and original table setting and decoration.

  • serve the main course on identical plates and with a single design theme;
  • Place canapés and desserts on wooden or plastic skewers that resemble forks (only with very blunt ends). After eating, skewers must be removed immediately so that they do not become objects for play;
  • Divide the canapés onto several small plates so that they can be placed at several ends of the table. If you don’t have a common table, then place the plates on the windowsills, coffee table or bedside tables;
  • choose some dense product as the basis for canapés - hard cookies, bread, cucumber, marshmallows, root vegetables (so that there are no crumbs);
  • avoid eating rye and gray bread for sandwiches - this is too heavy food for small tummies;
  • to add originality to the dish, cut the canapés into shapes: square, oval, circle, star, heart;
  • coat the canapes between layers with sauce: cottage cheese, sour cream or low-fat mayonnaise;
  • decorate the main meat dish in the form of funny hedgehogs, fish and crabs. Attach legs to the crab made from strips of boiled carrots or canned zucchini rings, and let the eyes be cloves or dark olives. Any children's salad can be decorated in the form of funny animals;
  • Put several animals on each child’s plate at the same time: for example, from salad and from meat - the child’s delight will know no bounds;
  • Include sausages from a trusted manufacturer (necessarily made according to state standards) in your holiday diet, even if you don’t like them in everyday life. You can make many interesting and funny figures from sausages: turtles, octopuses, rabbits and dogs - whatever your imagination allows you to create.

After the feast and the ceremonial removal of the cake with candles, be sure to organize a children's disco. Let the kids jump and frolic to the cheerful songs of cartoon characters. And let the children have unforgettable impressions after the celebration!

Enjoy your preparations and happy holidays!

Sincerely,

Marina Talanina and Lyudmila Potsepun.

We invite you to watch a fascinating video on our video channel "Workshop on the Rainbow"

The presenter describes the hero or heroine of fairy tales and cartoons in two or three words, without naming names, and the children must guess who they are talking about. Raised your hand - answered, answered correctly - received a prize. Examples: yellow cartoon characters, neither people nor animals, eat bananas (minions), female gender, blue hair, excellent upbringing (Malvina), from the cat family, in his world he is a king (Lion King) and so on.

Guess the animal

The presenter says 2-3 words, and the child must guess the animal. Whoever raises their hand first answers, and whoever has the most answers wins a prize. For example: neck, spots - giraffe; saliva, hump - camel; horseshoe, cart - horse; king, mane - lion and so on.

Lost color

All the children stand in a circle, and the leader explains the rules: when he says: “One, two, three. Find the color red!”, the guys must find this color on the clothes of the guests or in the hall and put their palm to it. The one who could not find anything sits down, and for the rest the competition continues. Now the presenter calls a different color. And so on until one participant remains.

Aliens

This competition will require large balloons and markers. They explain to the children that they have in their hands the planets of the Universe, which do not yet have inhabitants. Each participant must “populate” their “planet” with little people. The one with the most drawn creatures on his ball wins. You can also award a prize for the most original alien.

The strongest couple

Children are divided into pairs. The main task of each couple is to express themselves to the fullest and never let go of their hands. The presenter takes turns giving commands, for example, “run from the tiger”, “squat quickly, quickly”, “fly like an airplane”, “catch a butterfly” and so on. The couple that opens their arms is eliminated, and the strongest and most artistic pair of guys will receive a prize.

Everyone to get vaccinated

Children are divided into 2 teams, the participants of which line up in 2 rows. Each team is given a syringe (without a needle). Opposite each team, at a certain distance, there is a basin or other container with water. And next to the first team members there is an empty container. The task of the teams is to use a syringe to transfer water from one container to another faster than their opponents, with one participant replacing the other. The team that finishes it faster wins.

In the footsteps of a wild beast

Children are divided into 2-3 teams with the same number of participants. Teams line up in separate rows. Each team (the first participants) receives two tracks (traces of a wild animal cut out of plain paper, for example, a tiger track). At the command “start”, the first participants place the first footprint, take a step, then the second, step on it and so shift the footprints and follow them to the goal. And this very goal will be the mark on which the bowl of cakes, for example, will be located. As soon as the participant reaches the goal, he eats one cake and runs back at a free run, passing the baton and tracks to the second participant. The team that follows the tracks of the wild animal the fastest and eats all its prey (cakes), with the first participants again in first place, will be the winner.

How many insects does the birthday boy have?

The host states that the birthday boy has a lot of insects and the guests will have to count them. In advance, in the room where the celebration will take place, different insects, for example, 7 butterflies, 7 ladybugs, 7 bees, are placed in the same number of cut-out paper or small toy-figurines. Insects can be placed anywhere - on the walls, on the ceiling, on a chandelier, on a table, and so on. Whichever guest is the fastest and correctly counts all the insects will receive a prize.

Turtles

In this competition, each of the holiday guests has the opportunity to feel like a turtle. So, the guests are divided into teams with the same number of people. Bowls with goodies (cookies or candies in quantities equal to the number of team members) are located at the same distance from the teams. The first participants are given basins (bowls). At the “start” command, the first participants get down on all fours and put the basin on their backs and set off towards their goal (to a bowl of treats), take one treat and back to their team, pass the basin and baton to the next participant. The team that quickly covers the distance and snatches up its treats will be the winner.

Birthday snowman

A package of ice cream for everyone and a special ice cream scoop for each participant. At the command “start”, each participant, using a spoon, places ice cream ball onto ball on his plate, trying to make the tallest snowman. Whoever can build the tallest birthday snowman in a minute will win a prize.

5 years – the first anniversary in your baby’s life has arrived! The child already feels old enough to celebrate this holiday not only with relatives, but also to invite friends to visit him.

Organizing such an event at home requires some preparations:

The holiday should begin by creating an atmosphere of intrigue and unity for the entire company of little guests. This game is good for this "New name".

It is necessary to cut out cards in advance from bright paper in the form of the birthday boy’s favorite heroes and hide them in one of the rooms. After this, invite all the children to the secret room and give them a certain time to search for cards. As soon as each participant has found a card, we move on to the second part of this game. The leader throws the ball in a circle, accompanied by the question: “What is your name?” You need to say not your real name, but the fairy-tale hero depicted on the card of each owner. For the rest of the evening, each child turns into this hero and should be addressed only by his new name.

Options for games and competitions for children

"Magic Cylinder"

All children line up in a circle. The presenter shows them the hat, accompanied by the words: “This hat is not easy, it is magical. Whoever puts it on his head begins to spin like a top! And when the music stops, the one wearing this hat disappears!” Then, using his own example, he demonstrates to the children the principle of the game, i.e. puts a cylinder on his head, turns around himself once and then passes it to the next participant. Then the competition continues to the accompaniment of fiery music and the children quickly pass the hat like a relay baton according to the described rules. As soon as the music stops, the player who is wearing the hat is eliminated. The last one left in the hat is awarded a prize.

"Adults and kids"

The presenter announces the rules of the game to the children: when to pronounce the word “ adults"They should stand on their toes and stretch their arms up, and if they hear the word " kids", then you should sit down lower. Of course, the presenter’s task is to confuse the guys, and for this he first says the words “ adults!" deliberately loud, and " kids- in a barely audible whisper. Then the presenter makes diametrically opposite changes in intonation and volume. In addition, the presenter can mislead children by resorting to visual and audio deceptions, i.e. saying " adults"- the presenter crouches, and saying" kids- stands on tiptoes. The one who makes a mistake is out of the game.

"Ice and Candy"

This competition is recommended to be held during the warm season. First you need to freeze M&S sweets in small pieces of ice. After some particularly active competition, in order to give the children time to rest and cool down, the presenter invites each child to take one piece of ice and melt it as quickly as possible. Whoever gets the candy out of the ice first wins a pack of M&S sweets.

"Car Racing"

To conduct this competition you will need two children's cars, ropes and pencils. Attach one end of the rope to the pencil and the other to the typewriter. Children must wrap the rope around the pencil as quickly as possible without lifting the car wheels off the floor.

If the group of children is dominated by girls, then it is better to replace the car with toy carriages.

"Palms as a gift"

Take a large sheet of paper (A1 format), colored markers and seat the children around the entire perimeter of the sheet. Each child must trace their palms and decorate them at their own discretion. Upon completion of the children’s joint creativity, the presenter asks all children to sign this picture. In the center of the canvas they write the date of the celebration, accompanied by the words: “In 15 years, all the creators of this masterpiece should gather for the next anniversary of the birthday boy and circle their palms again.”

"Gourmet Competition"

Each child in turn is blindfolded and asked to open his mouth. Then put a piece of fruit or berry in your mouth. The assortment should be varied - chocolate, bananas, marmalade, strawberries, oranges and more. The main condition is that the pieces must be small and they must be placed in the child’s mouth very carefully so that the child does not get scared or choke. The baby must taste what it is. Find out your children's dessert preferences in advance and be sure to take into account the wishes of their parents. Everyone who guesses correctly receives the same fruit or candy they guessed as a prize.

"Mini Balloon Launch Championship"

You will need several balloons with a whistle. All children line up along the wall, inflate the balloons as much as possible (if one of the kids does not succeed, then you can involve your parents in inflating the balloon). At the leader's command, the balls are released. Whose ball flies the furthest is the winner. You can compete in this competition until parents get tired of the polyphonic squeaking of the balloons.

"Mystery Balls"

Parents need to write riddles on small pieces of paper, roll them into tubes and put them inside balloons. First, the children need to destroy the air bombs (the same balls in which we put the riddles). You can encourage children in this process: “We are not afraid of these broads, we can easily neutralize them with our butts and solve all the riddles in order to move on!” After you have managed to extract the notes from the balls, the presenter begins to read riddles to the children, and they guess together.

"A Bee in a Flower Meadow"

For this competition, mom needs to sew several floral hats. For example, from cotton wool - dandelion; made of blue satin - a bell; from white chintz - chamomile; from red satin - a rose. Making a bee hat will require the most work. The best thing for this is a deep knitted hat; sew wings and antennae on top. The hat must cover the child's eyes. The game is built on the principle of blind man's buff. First, they put a bee hat on the birthday boy, spin him around and let him go in search of flowers. When a bee catches a flower, she must guess from the headdress what kind of flower it is. Then the bee and the caught flower exchange their caps. And the bee leads again.

“Tell my little mirror, and show me the whole truth...”

A presenter is selected from among the children, whose task in this competition is to show various intricate figures and grimaces. The rest of the children must copy his movements exactly. It is important that every child try themselves in the role of “Mirror”. This competition develops acting skills in children and helps fight the child’s shyness.

"If it is not …"

This game develops associative thinking in children. An object is selected and passed around the circle with the words: “If it’s not a ball, then it’s the sun.” The next child continues the relay race with the toy and adds one more guess to the previously stated option: “If this is not a ball or the sun, then it is an orange!” In this way, the transfer of the toy continues until it passes the entire circle. Children list everything that this object looks like. The participant who could not find the next word is eliminated.

“Matryoshka with gifts for the whole company”

A few days before the celebration, take several boxes of different sizes and paint them with your children. Then place favors for all the children in the smallest box. Place a small box in a slightly larger box and so on, using the matryoshka principle, place all the boxes in the largest one. On the appointed day of the celebration, sit all the children in a circle and, to the music, begin passing around a huge gift box-matryoshka. When the music stops, the child, who at that moment has the box in his hands, opens it and finds a smaller box there. The music starts again and the children pass the next box around in a circle until the music stops. In this way, the game continues until the children reach the smallest box with gifts for the whole company.

The best way to end the celebration is with a traditional loaf of bread!

Firework! Firework!

To start the holiday, we will arrange a fireworks display in honor of the birthday boy. Just for fun, we'll have a competition for the winner.

We will place 4 balls near each guest, at the command of the host everyone shouts “Hurray!!! Salute!!!”, throw one ball high up. Thus 4 times. The one whose ball flies higher than the others will be the first winner.

Let's do a little relay race. Divide our kids into teams. We give each person a ladle. At the end of the room we place a chair with a saucepan.

Assignment: you need to scoop up one candy and transfer it to the pan. Whoever is first wins.

Travels in a bucket

A child comes out who wants to travel, and we give him a balloon. At a short distance from it there are four buckets with signs, for example: Italy, France, Europe, Asia.

Task: the selected presenter, an adult or the children take turns naming the country, and the child tries to get into the bucket with the specified name. Everyone can try it.

Do you want to surprise your children and reveal to them the secret that they are born magicians? Then prepare small jars with lids. Coat the lids with watercolor paint. Each jar has a different color.

We invite the child and ask them to say the magic words: “Abra-Kadabra” or “Sim salabim water turn yellow” and shake the jar of water. Please name the color corresponding to the jar.

The secret is that water gets on the lid with paint, it dissolves, and the water is colored accordingly.

Fun relay race

Competitions for children 5 years old are always very funny and fun. Now we invite the guys to form into two teams. Kids need to run to the flag, but not just like that. The first couple does not run, but jumps, placing their hands on each other’s shoulders. The second pair runs on their right legs, and their left legs are bent at the knee and raised. The third pair walks on their haunches.

The options can be even more diverse.

Finger tree

To make this five-year anniversary memorable for a very long time, we suggest making the painting “Fairytale Tree” with finger paints. Ideally, of course, it would be better if each little guest had their own color. We have 5 fingers on our hand, the same number for your birthday boy, so we will dip each finger.

Prepare a mock-up of a tree or a picture in advance, or draw it yourself. At the end of this creative work, sign each finger of the guest, and perhaps this picture will remind of this celebration for many years to come.

And now everyone to the bathroom! To wash hands!

Dance, light up and pass on your hat

The guys stand in a circle. We find a red hat, maybe a summer beach hat. We put the birthday person in the center and put on a hat. To the fiery music, he begins to dance, after dancing a little, he puts the hat on another child, he goes to the center, and he is already dancing.

This is passed on to everyone in turn. It really brings the kids together and liberates them.

Congratulations to the birthday boy

Often five-year-old children come to birthday parties with their parents, so that they are not bored, we offer a couple of competitions with their participation.

We form a stream, the children become pairs, take hands and raise them up, the adults also stand in their pairs, i.e. child with child, adult with adult.

The birthday boy passes under the stream, and everyone unanimously and loudly congratulates “WEALTH!”

Or they can all stand in a circle, invite the birthday person to the center, everyone clap and say “And I, and I, and I, congratulations to you!!!”

I'm following the lion's tracks

We only distribute to each team 2 cardboards. Cut out the paw print of a lion. So, the task: the child steps on one footprint and waits for the second one to be moved; the parents do this. Thus, we go to our hole.

This is a foreign Latin American game. It goes great on holidays for both kids and adults.

We take a rope, adults hold it on both sides. Dancing, they pass under it. Once everyone has passed, we lower it 15 cm lower. Then we dance - we pass.

Due to the fact that we are celebrating together, in the end only the kids will remain.

Looking for gold

We choose any item that looks like gold, for example, a gold-plated spoon or a box. We hide it in the depths of your house. We give the guests a map of the treasury and ask them to find the treasure. We plot the route on the map, either in the form of riddles or in prose, indicating the place and what needs to be done.

Divide the guests into teams, and for adults there is an additional condition: they cannot speak or point with their hands, but they can use all other parts of the body.

What kind of yummy food is this?

We blindfold the participant, put in his mouth a piece of small fruit, berries, chocolate, candy, whatever is on the table. Please guess what kind of yummy food this is?

It would be good if there was a rich assortment: oranges, tangerines, pomegranates, lemons, bananas, strawberries, grapes, pears, kiwis.

Find out from your parents in advance whether you are allergic to any fruit or sweets.
