To surprise your baby for any holiday, you need to turn on your imagination ☺️. An original option would be to present a gift in a very large Kinder Surprise egg, made with your own hands. This craft is empty inside and you can put various sweets or a toy in it ✨️.

Homemade kinder surprise made from paper

✔️ In this version, the egg is made from a ball that needs to be covered with paper. For gluing, you can use PVA glue or prepare a homemade paste.

To prepare the paste, you need:

  1. Mix 1 tbsp. l. corn starch and 2 tbsp. l. tap water.
  2. To stir thoroughly.
  3. Take half a glass of boiling water and pour it over the mixture.
  4. Stir and put the mixture on fire.
  5. Stir continuously until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and stir a little more.
  7. Refrigerate before use.

You can first add water to PVA glue.

To make a huge egg you will need:

  • printed inscription;
  • water;
  • balloon;
  • A4 paper;
  • newspaper;
  • PVA glue;
  • paints (gouache);
  • water;
  • for preparing paste, starch or flour;
  • brush.

Steps to make an egg:

  1. The balloon is inflated to the required size and tied with thread so that it can be untied later.
  2. To make it more convenient to work with the ball, it must be placed in some container.
  3. Apply the first layer, which consists of water and paper. The paper is cut into small squares. Then dip each square in water and place it on the ball. This is how the entire surface is covered. All actions must be carried out at a fast pace, as the water dries quickly and the sheets of paper will begin to fall off. Instead of paper, you can use newspapers. Then the ball is covered with white paper last.
  4. After the entire ball is covered, you need to let it stand for 5 minutes to dry.
  5. The next layer consists of glue or homemade paste and paper. The ball is generously coated with adhesive and a second layer of paper is glued on. In order for the paper to be well saturated, you need a lot of glue or paste.
  6. Next, the future egg is also generously coated with glue and a third layer of paper is glued on.
  7. Leave the egg overnight to dry completely. It is best to dry near the radiator.
  8. After the paper has completely dried, the stage of removing the ball begins. To do this, the tail is untied or cut off, and then the ball is carefully removed. The resulting hole must be sealed.
  9. The next day, three layers are glued again and dried again.
  10. Then you should paint the egg: to do this, draw a wavy line on the lower part with a simple pencil, and then paint it with red gouache. The upper part is painted white gouache. Instead of gouache, you can use acrylic paints or water-based emulsion. It is worth adding PVA glue to gouache paints, then the paint will not crack or stick to your hands while it dries.
  11. Next step: make an inscription. You can print it on a color printer or draw the letters yourself and color them. In your own performance it will look more real. You can attach a piece of paper to the monitor and trace the letters. Then cut each word and glue it individually.
  12. Next, a “door” is made in the egg. Its shape can be square or round. Cut with a stationery knife. Inside is filled with a gift.

You can write the child's name on the egg or stick your favorite cartoon characters on it, or you can make it in the form of a smiley face or mmdms. By applying varnish the surface can be made glossy.

Huge egg made of plaster and paper

This version of the egg will be stronger and smoother.

To create a kinder you will need:

  • printed inscription;
  • water;
  • balloon;
  • A4 paper;
  • newspaper;
  • PVA glue;
  • paints (acrylic);
  • water;
  • to prepare the paste - starch or flour;
  • brush;
  • gypsum;
  • sandpaper;
  • for a magnetic door: magnet, cardboard;
  • putty or self-hardening clay.

Manufacturing steps:

  1. The balloon is also inflated, covered with paper and dried. The description is given in the previous method. Pasted in three layers.
  2. After the workpiece has completely dried, the balloon bursts and is removed through the hole. The hole is sealed.
  3. Next comes the priming stage. For this, putty or plaster is used. The layer should be applied evenly.
  4. After the putty or plaster has completely dried, the stage of making a hole in order to put the gifts is carried out. The hole will be a door that can be removed. A stationery knife is used to cut it out.
  5. To make it possible to remove the door, a magnet is glued into it, and the top is sealed with paper in several layers. Cardboard is glued into the base, then a magnet is placed, and paper is placed on top. Gluing is done using PVA glue.
  6. The egg and door are sanded with coarse sandpaper. This gives the egg perfect smoothness.
  7. After sanding, pits and depressions appear on the egg. In those places where they are deeper, plaster is re-applied, time is waited for drying and sanded with fine-grain sandpaper.
  8. Next is the painting stage. Waves are painted in the lower part with red acrylic paint, and the upper part is painted white. Then the inscription is printed on a color printer, each letter is cut out and pasted onto the “kinder”. It is also possible to write letters with a simple pencil and paint them with colored acrylic paints.

✔️ This gift, created with our own efforts, is suitable for any holiday ✨️ . It will be original and unusual. Not a single child will remain indifferent to him. Any gift can be placed inside such an egg: sweets, toys, etc. This egg with a gift can also be presented to an adult.

Video instruction: Do-it-yourself Kinder surprise

Kids are crazy about Kinders. This is connected, rather, not with the love of sweets, but with the mysterious gift that is inside the plastic egg, because it is always interesting to open the packaging, eagerly getting to the toy. One has only to imagine how delighted children will be when they are handed a simply gigantic Kinder by their standards, in the middle of which there will be not just one toy, but a whole mountain of goodies..

Do-it-yourself large Kinder surprise egg, step by step with photos

  1. Inflate the balloon to the desired size, but do not make it too elastic, otherwise it will burst after the first layer.

  2. Cut newspaper or office paper into rectangles, then cover the ball.

    Tip: It is better to choose plain paper as the first layer, since all the drawings will be visible from the middle.

  3. The second layer of Kinder is made from the same paper, each time dipping it in PVA glue. Leave until completely dry.

  4. Next, make two more layers. This is necessary for the egg to keep its shape and withstand the weight of the gifts inside it.
  5. Burst the ball inside and carefully pull it out.

  6. Cover the remaining hole with several layers of paper. Let it dry completely.

  7. Paint the egg with white gouache or acrylic paint.

  8. Mark a hole for the door and cut it with a utility knife.

  9. Make round holes for fastenings on the door and on the egg.

  10. Pull thin ribbons through the holes.

  11. Create a wave with red paint, leaving two places unpainted for droplets of milk.

  12. Print out the stencils and glue them on.

  13. Color with paints.

  14. Include gifts.

How to make a large kinder egg, ideas with photos, 2 options

Paper version.

Creating the basis for this option is the same as described above, the only thing that differs between the options is the decor. Instead of coloring, you can cover the surprise with paper. To do this, strips of paper of the appropriate color are cut thinly, cut leaving 1.5 cm at the edge, and then glued with hot glue. The eyes, mouth, cap and hands are printed on the printer and glued on top.

Chocolate egg.

To make such a kinder egg, you need to fill an inflated ball with melted chocolate, and then, turning the ball over, spread it on the walls and let it cool. After setting, the ball is cut off and the egg is cut into 2 parts with a hot knife. If desired, the middle can be greased with white chocolate and allowed to set. The middle is filled at your discretion. The edge is slightly melted with a hot knife and the halves are glued together. You can leave it this way, or you can wrap it in foil, paint it and paint it in the standard colors of the Kinder packaging.

Cover the inflated ball with pieces of paper soaked in water without adding glue. Overlap each piece on the previous one.

Dilute the PVA with water 1:1 and apply glue to the ball with a brush, let it dry completely.

Cover the ball with a second layer of paper and undiluted glue. Dry completely.

Make 1 more layer of this.

Cut the ball and carefully remove it.

Cover the hole with paper. Let dry thoroughly.

Draw a wave and a droplet with a pencil along the entire lower circumference of the egg.

Cover the white part of the egg with white paint, and the part with the wave with red paint, leaving a droplet untouched.

Print out a colored stencil and glue it on. When applying glue, the paint on the stencil may float slightly. To correct the situation, paint over the inscription with paint, and draw the lines with a marker.

Mark a door on the back wall through which gifts can be inserted. Its size depends on the size of the largest gift prepared. Cut out, leaving the bottom intact.

Tip: If your Kinder turns out to be too wrinkled, go over its surface with fine-grained sandpaper before painting.

Large Kinder SURPRISE with your own hands

Big Kinder Surprise is the dream of every child. Today I want to tell you how to make a large Kinder Surprise with your own hands. In fact, it is very simple to make, and the joy from such an egg will know no bounds. And the most important thing is that you can fill the egg with those toys and sweets that will be interesting to your child.

For work we will need:

PVA glue;

Scissors;

Paper (A4 format, newspaper;

Ball (regular pear-shaped, the larger the ball, the larger the kinder you will get);

I used a printout of the inscription “Kinder surprise” in color (I found the inscription on the Internet).

Manufacturing process:

Making the egg preparation (papier-mâché):

1. Inflate the balloon to the size you want to make Kinder, place the balloon on some kind of stand (I used a cup).

2. Pour water into a plate and dip our newspaper leaves (pre-cut into squares) in water.

3. Glue the wet leaves onto the ball in one layer (without glue).

4. Then dilute the PVA glue with water 1:1.

5. Coat the 1st layer with glue, and glue the 2nd layer, but with white paper.

6. Coat the second layer with glue, and glue the third layer.

7. Now let the egg dry (it took me 2 days).

Egg decoration:

1. First, we cut out our pre-printed inscription “Kinder Surprise”, it is not necessary to cut out by letter, you can cut out the entire inscription “Kinder” and separately the entire “Surprise”, and then a blue rectangle with the inscription “milk-cocoa”.

2. We try on our inscriptions and, with a simple pencil, outline where we will draw the orange “Skirt” of the egg.

3. Draw a “skirt” with a simple pencil (you can take a real kinder egg and draw from it or look it up on the Internet) and draw a drop on the skirt, then take orange paint (I mixed red and orange for a more accurate color). Carefully trace the outline of the skirt and the droplet (we leave the droplet white, there is no need to paint it, we paint over the skirt with paint.

4. Leave the paint on the egg to dry.

5. Once everything has dried, we glue our Kinder Surprise inscription with PVA glue (again, look at a real egg and glue it according to the model).

The whole egg is ready! All that remains is to fill it with gifts; to do this, we cut out the door at the back, put the gifts and sweets and secure it with ribbon.

Play is one of the most important activities of a preschooler, during which the appropriation of experience and adaptation to the environment occurs.

It’s not difficult to understand how to make a big kinder surprise with your own hands. It is enough to carefully study the instructions and work slowly. The simplest option is an egg made using the papier-mâché technique, filled with a variety of sweets and toys.

Tools and materials

An egg using the papier-mâché technique is durable. It can be used as reusable packaging for any gifts: candies, other sweets, toys. An original solution is to fill a homemade egg with real Kinder surprises.

To work you will need:

  • scissors;
  • balloon;
  • thin paper (writing, cigarette, newspaper);
  • PVA glue;
  • gouache;
  • printed inscriptions for registration;
  • threads;
  • brush;
  • water container.

The inscriptions that will be used to decorate the finished eggs are printed on a printer using ready-made templates from the Internet. You can complicate the task by making the surprise personalized.

Master class for beginners

  1. Inflate the balloon; it should take the shape of an egg. Tie the neck tightly with a thick thread to prevent air from escaping. Place the ball in a suitable sized bowl for greater stability.
  2. Cut the paper into small pieces of arbitrary shape. The main thickness of the product can be created using newspapers, but the top paper layer should be white.
  3. Wet the pieces one by one in water and apply them to the surface of the inflated ball. This must be done quickly, otherwise the paper will not stick together.
  4. After applying the first layer, let it dry for a few minutes. Coat the surface of the egg with glue. The thicker the coating, the stronger the finished egg will be.
  5. Glue the second layer of paper, trying to distribute the paper pieces evenly. Cover them with glue and leave to dry for several hours.
  6. When the egg is dry, glue another 1 or 2 layers of paper. The thickness of the egg depends on the gifts inside. The heavier the filling, the more durable the packaging should be.
  7. Cut off the lower part of the ball with thread, seal the resulting hole with paper.
  8. Paint the egg with gouache mixed with a small amount of PVA glue. Take a real Kinder Surprise as an example. Glue the printed inscriptions.
  9. Cut a rectangular window in the back and fill the egg with gifts. Glue the resulting door or tie it with tape.

The finished egg can be packaged in transparent cellophane: the gift will look even more festive. All that remains is to present a surprise to the child and enjoy his delight.

Good afternoon If you have decided to make a big kinder surprise with your own hands from paper, or even from chocolate, then we are like-minded people. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time, watching the eyes of the younger generation light up at the sight of this wonderful and tasty gift.

I have already surfed the Internet and collected the necessary information. All you have to do is read the article, prepare the necessary materials and get down to business with me. Let's imagine for a moment the children's delight at a mega surprise, and the process will go like clockwork. Well, are you ready? Then get down to business and good luck to us!

Master class on how to make a large kinder surprise out of paper with your own hands

Are you familiar with the papier-mâché technique? Yes, yes - this is the production of three-dimensional objects using paper and any paste. This is the simple technique we will use.

And one more important point. Have you figured out what to put inside the big egg? After all, children are always interested in the contents of the Kinder, aren’t they? And the size of our masterpiece may depend on the content. So think about this nuance before you start working.

What we need to prepare for the creative process:

  • One balloon
  • Paper material (a lot) - newspapers, plain A4 paper, tissue paper
  • PVA glue
  • Starch for making paste (if there is no glue)
  • Gouache
  • Brush
  • Container with water
  • Scissors
  • Thread or lace
  • Printouts with inscriptions.

About the inscriptions. Here you can copy and then print templates. They will make the product look like factory copies. But for greater effect, I suggest making the Kinder Surprise also personalized if you are creating it for one child. This means that you need to type the name into the computer. Then print, color and paste below the main inscriptions. Is it necessary to talk about children's emotions when receiving a huge gift with their name on it?

Now let's talk about the adhesive composition.

  • If we use glue, we will dilute it with a small amount of water.
  • If PVA is not at home, we will prepare a paste from starch. I used corn, but you can also use potato, of course. Take a tablespoon of starch and mix it with two equal tablespoons of water.

There should be no lumps, please keep this in mind. Then pour a glass of boiling water over the mixture and stir. Place on low heat and bring to a jelly consistency, remembering to stir. Then we will give it time to cool down.

Attention: you will need a lot of paste. So it’s better to prepare two or three servings at once. No one can tell you the exact quantity, since the size of the inflated balloon is different for everyone.

Step-by-step creation of a large kinder surprise from paper with your own hands

  1. First, inflate the balloon to the desired size. When inflating, do not forget to give it an egg-shaped shape. We tie it with a thread or lace in such a way that we can untie it later.
  2. Let's choose a convenient vessel to place the inflated balloon in. It will be more convenient to work this way. This could be a bowl, for example.

  3. Then we will cut the papers. The smaller the better. This will avoid unsightly folds. So as not to be very tedious, let's focus on pieces with sides of 5 - 10 cm.
  4. Now we will paste the first layer. Now we only need paper pieces and a container of water. But look, I only have printer paper. If you also have a newspaper one, then start with that. You will definitely finish it white so that newspaper letters and texts do not show through the paint.

  5. We wet the pieces in water, and do it generously so that the paper gets well wet and sticks to the ball. Quickly cover the entire surface. If the first pieces begin to dry out, moisten them a little so that they do not lag behind. Yes, I completely forgot - glue the pieces overlapping, there should be no un-glued areas. You can also use smaller pieces for gaps.
  6. Let the first layer dry a little, about 5 minutes, no more.
  7. Then we coat the entire surface with paste or glue and begin gluing the paper. Don’t skimp on glue, this way the frame of the future kinder will be stronger.

  8. Apply the third paper layer. Again, we don’t skimp on the paste.

  9. We set the product aside overnight, or for 8 - 10 hours. The layers should dry thoroughly.
  10. After the first 3 layers have dried, apply another 2–3 layers in a similar manner. But this is the next day, as you understand. In general, even three layers will be enough, but for greater strength, for example, I add more glue. The number of paper layers is also affected by the weight of the gifts with which we will fill the egg. So decide for yourself how many layers to glue. But the minimum is three.
  11. Now our task is to remove the ball. To do this, untie the threads or lace and pull out the airy base. If it doesn’t come undone, we’ll pierce the ball with a needle, or simply cut off the tip.
  12. Let's mask the hole that we have formed due to the presence of the ball. It just needs to be sealed.

  13. An interesting moment has come - let's start coloring. But first, let’s draw waves at the bottom of the workpiece, just like in the real product.

  14. Add a small amount of PVA glue to the gouache - and it won’t stick to the handles, and it won’t crack when it dries.
  15. First, paint the bottom red, then the top white. Let's give the paint time to dry.
  16. Now you can work with the inscriptions. As promised, I offer 2 options: color and black and white.

    Choose which one is more convenient for you. Copy, print, paste. You can, of course, write it yourself, but it’s more difficult, in my opinion.

  17. On the side opposite the inscriptions, we will cut out a door, with the help of which we will fill the hollow egg with gifts. The door can be glued or tied with satin ribbons. See for yourself what is more convenient for you.

A big do-it-yourself kinder surprise is ready! The child will be delighted. Don't forget to have a photo shoot in front of a gorgeous gift.

  • I do not recommend hanging drying. Damp paper may sag and unnecessary folds will appear.
  • It is better to dry it in a container with holes so that air flows cover the entire surface.

How to make a large chocolate egg at home

Friends, it’s time to improve your skills and move on to creating a more exquisite gift for your beloved child. Making a big chocolate egg at home! Edible, sweet, tasty. And if we want, we’ll fill it with surprises.

Believe it or not, a balloon will help us with this. The egg will turn out smooth and truly huge! I just warn you right away: you will have to cool the product in the refrigerator. So compare the desired size of the surprise with the capabilities of your refrigerator.

We prepare everything you need to prepare mega delicacies

  • Dark chocolate 10 – 16 bars
  • White chocolate 6 – 8 bars
  • One balloon
  • Confectionery syringe
  • Latex gloves
  • Deep plate.

Step by Step Actions

  1. Wash the ball carefully and thoroughly inside and out.
  2. Let's dry it with a hairdryer. The ball should be dry inside.
  3. Melt dark chocolate in a water bath. We should get a homogeneous mass, without a single lump. It should cool down a little. Please keep in mind that we need it neither hot nor cold, but viscous. This is a very important nuance.

  4. Then unscrew the tip of the pastry syringe and carefully put the ball on. Now we will pull out the piston and inflate the ball to the desired size. Let's twist it for a while so that it doesn't blow away.

  5. Now, on the contrary, let’s spin the ball and fill it. A syringe and a spoon will help us with this.

  6. When we have filled all the chocolate, tie the ball tightly. Let's start rotating it carefully. To ensure that the walls are completely painted with chocolate, you can lightly tap the walls of the ball with your hands. Make sure that there are no unpainted areas left.

  7. Let's turn the product vertically. At the same time, the remaining sweet mass will flow down, and our kinder will become quite stable.

  8. We send the workpiece to the refrigerator. Let's note the time. The egg should harden for about an hour and a half.
  9. Our next task is to make a second layer of white chocolate inside the egg. When the cooling time of our semi-finished product is up, we will prepare white chocolate - melt it in a water bath, just as we did with its black counterpart.
  10. We put rubber gloves on our hands so that the sweet walls don’t melt at the touch of our hands. We take out the egg.
  11. We put a deep plate on top, draw a line, and cut off the top.

  12. We take it out as it hardens, fill it with gifts if desired.
  13. Heat the blade of the knife, run along the edge of the egg, and apply the top. The temperature will melt the chocolate a little and the top will stick well.

  14. Coat the seam with the remaining chocolate and remove the excess.

Well, is it impressive? Still would. How happy the children will be with such a surprise! To make it more similar to store-bought kinder, you can make a package.

You need to take foil. Cut out two oval figures of the appropriate size plus 10 cm at the edges. Then mark a wavy line on the bottom of each half and paint the bottom red. The top, as expected, is painted white.

Place an egg on the center of the unpainted side of one half. Cover with the other oval half and join the edges. All that remains is to glue the inscriptions, and you can distinguish our product from the branded one only by its size.

Such extraordinary surprises will remain in our and children’s memories for a long time. We are great with you. Let's meet more often on the pages of Altynai's blog, we won't do anything like that yet. Do you agree? So, see you again!
